About the Role:
Title: Solace Café Service Coordinator
Contract: 12 months duration
Hours: 25 hours per week
Requirement: Flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and nights (through a rota system).
Location: Limerick City
About Community Partner:
Limerick Mental Health Association (LMHA), established in 2002, supports the local community by raising awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting positive mental health through various programs. LMHA offers signposting services, peer support, wellness activities, and organizes Limerick Mental Health Week annually. Affiliated with Mental Health Ireland, LMHA provides a safe, non-judgmental space for those seeking mental health support.
About Solace Café:
The aim of Solace Café is to provide an out-of-hours, friendly and supportive community-based adult crisis prevention and crisis response service, in the evenings and at weekends in a café style/non-clinical safe environment through social, peer support, crisis support and recovery-based support and services.
Solace Café is a partnership initiative, managed by Limerick Mental Health Association and funded by HSE Mental Health
