A Week of Connection, Community & Wellbeing

Limerick Mental Health Week is made possible through the involvement of organisations, services, volunteers and community members from across Limerick.

We encourage everyone to get involved in whatever way feels right for them – whether that’s attending a workshop, trying a wellbeing activity, enjoying live music, bringing the family along to an event or simply starting a conversation about mental health.

Mental Health Week runs from 4th–10th October 2026.

Follow #LMHW2026 for updates throughout the week.

With Thanks to Our Community & Partners

Limerick Mental Health Week would not be possible without the incredible support of the organisations, agencies, businesses and community groups who come together each year to make the week happen.

Donations & Community Support

We would like to extend a special thank you to the local organisations, attractions and schools whose generous donations have helped make Limerick Mental Health Week 2026 even more special.

A huge thank you to The Hunt Museum, UL Climbing Wall, King John’s Castle, Foynes Flying Boat & Maritime Museum, and Thomond Park Stadium Tour for generously donating prizes for our Mental Health Week raffle. Your support is greatly appreciated.

We would also like to say a very special thank you to Milford National School, Murrroe National School, St Patrick’s Girls National School and St Patrick’s Boys National School for collecting and donating teddy bears for our Adopt-a-Bear activity at the Limerick Mental Health Week Launch Event.

The generosity and support we have received from across the community has played a wonderful part in bringing Mental Health Week together. Thank you to everyone who has contributed.

Our Partners

A huge thank you also goes to all of our partner organisations and agencies who have contributed their time, expertise, resources and events to this year’s programme.

Limerick Mental Health Week is a true community effort, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who has played a part in bringing this year’s programme together. Thank you for helping us create opportunities for connection, conversation and positive mental health across Limerick.
