A note from Ian Hackett, Manager of LMHA

“We are thrilled to be celebrating the 21st anniversary of Limerick Mental Health Week! This year’s theme, Community, Connection, and Compassion highlights the importance of communication and openness, when someone is struggling, whether it is a friend or family member we are encouraging everyone to help combat stigma and reach out.

We are going to have an 80km walk from Limerick to Fenit on Sat 11th of October to help raise awareness on men’s mental health.

We have partnered with a wide range of local businesses, social groups, and community organizations to ensure there is something for everyone, and we invite all of Limerick to join us in making this our most impactful week yet.”
