What We Do
– Signposting
LMHA provides a free signposting service for all. We aim to make it as easy as possible for people to navigate the intricate world of mental health support services. If people are unsure of what support they need they can call us and we will direct them to the correct service.
– Peer Support
LMHA provides one to one and group peer support through our qualified peer support facilitators.
– Wellness Activites and Programmes
We provide a number of wellness activities and programs each year ranging from: YOGA, MINDFULLNESS, MUSIC THERAPY, ART THERAPY, WALKING GROUPS and much more…
– Limerick Mental Health Week
LMHA runs Limerick Mental Health Week every year. The week will provide a forum to generate discussion, reduce stigma and promote positive mental health and well-being. Finally, Limerick Mental Health Week highlights the range of supports and services which are available within the local community to support our mental health.
To our service users
Limerick Mental Health Association provides a safe, non-judgmental space where you can talk to us without fear of prejudice in a supportive and relaxed environment.
There is no need to make an appointment as we have an open, door walk-in policy and we work on the no wrong door ethic, which is: if we are not the right service for you we will get you the right service.
