Limerick Mental Health Week 2019 – over for another year, another jam packed week was had. It is always busy running up to the year, but always worth it. The passion and dedication from all of the organisations involved and our volunteers is testament to how big and impactful the week is.
The three key pillars of Limerick Mental Health Week are raising awareness of mental health in the community, highlighting the valuable local services available, and collaboration between all mental health organisations in Limerick.
This year the theme was “Suicide Prevention.” We worked to promote the supports available and spread awareness of what you can do to help yourself and those in the community.
We had many events over the week, and all were well attended despite the weather.
