Paul Partnership & Limerick Mental Health Week 2017

Who are we?

PAUL Partnership is a Local Development Company, based in Limerick City. We work with local communities that have benefited least from economic and social development and aim to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of people living in Limerick City.

We do this by:

  • Working directly with individuals to support them to access employment, enterprise, education and training programmes
  • Supporting local community-based organisations to develop and deliver social inclusion services and supports at a local level
  • Building the capacity of individuals and communities to have a say in the policies and decisions and that affect the quality of life in their own communities

We implement programmes and actions across a number of areas, including: Community Development, Employment Support, Enterprise Support, Education and Lifelong Learning, and Early Years.

Importance of Limerick Mental Health Week

The primary objective of PAUL Partnership is to promote social inclusion and improve quality of life for the people of Limerick City. Limerick Mental Health Week’s core objectives and approach align fully with that of PAUL Partnership. It recognises that people who experience social exclusion are at high risk of experiencing mental health challenges. Paul Partnership’s ethos of social inclusion and partnership across the community & voluntary sector focuses on supporting people experiencing social disadvantage and those who are at risk of stigma as a result. We are delighted to be able to support the week.
