Importance of Limerick Mental Health Week

An acquired brain injury (ABI) is often sudden and unexpected. It can impact a person’s thinking skills as well as their emotional well-being and mental health. The changes in relationships, roles and responsibilities following an ABI can affect the well-being and mental health of family members.  In recognition of this, our psychological services aim to provide a range of supports to meet the needs of individuals and family members. By taking part in Limerick Mental Health week it gives clients and staff and family members the opportunity to become aware of what services are available for them and family members and get involved in community events.
